The 2007 Global Pouch Forum presented both the stark realities of an ultra-competitive, global marketplace where pouches need to fulfill unmet promise (as emphasized by co-keynoter Danny Beard of Packaging Specialists) and a faith-inspiring vision of a prosperous future through a host of presentations on key pouch technologies (at least four of them launched at the conference) and new market opportunities in foodservice, pet food, and in developing countries.

The Forum, held May 1 to 3 in St. Petersburg, FL, truly offered something for all attendees. For those who could not attend, the proceedings will be an invaluable resource tool to building a prominent and economically viable pouch future.
